Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Ensure the florets are evenly coated.
- Step 3: Spread the cauliflower florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding the pan; use two baking sheets if necessary.
- Step 4: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and slightly browned, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Step 5: If using, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the cauliflower during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Step 6: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Store leftover baked cauliflower in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently in the microwave or oven to avoid drying it out; a touch of extra olive oil helps.
- Serve this delicious baked cauliflower as a side dish with roasted chicken or fish, or add it to a hearty salad for a complete meal.
- For extra crispy cauliflower, consider roasting it at a slightly higher temperature (425°F) for a shorter time, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
