Ingredients
- Salmon fillets (skin on or off): 4 (6-ounce) fillets
- Unsalted butter, softened: 1/2 cup
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
- Cajun seasoning: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced: 2 cloves
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley, chopped: 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, lemon juice, and parsley. Mix well until fully incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 3: Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Evenly spread the Cajun honey butter mixture over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Step 4: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the salmon.
- Step 5: Broil for the last 1-2 minutes to caramelize the butter (optional, watch carefully to prevent burning).
- Step 6: Garnish with additional fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Gently reheat leftover salmon in a 300°F (150°C) oven to prevent it from drying out.
- Serve this salmon with a side of roasted asparagus or quinoa for a complete and delicious meal.
- For a richer flavor, let the Cajun honey butter sit at room temperature for an hour before using to allow the flavors to meld.
