Delicious cheeseburger quesadillas recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Ground beef: 1 pound
  • Onion: 1/2, chopped
  • Cheddar cheese: 1 cup, shredded
  • Burger sauce: 1/2 cup
  • Flour tortillas: 4 large
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onion and cook, breaking up the beef with a spoon, until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Step 2: Season the ground beef mixture with salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  3. Step 3: Spread burger sauce evenly over one side of each tortilla.
  4. Step 4: Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese over the burger sauce on two tortillas. Top with the ground beef mixture, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the beef.
  5. Step 5: Place the remaining two tortillas on top of the cheese and beef, burger sauce side down.
  6. Step 6: Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Carefully place one quesadilla in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey. Repeat with the remaining quesadilla. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, caramelize the onions before adding the ground beef.
  • Leftover quesadillas can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
  • Reheat quesadillas in a dry skillet over medium-low heat for best results, avoiding a soggy texture.
  • Serve with a side of crispy French fries and extra burger sauce for dipping.
