- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (20 ounce) package frozen cheese tortellini
- 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Step 2: Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, tortellini, marinara sauce, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Stir well to combine.
- Step 4: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
- Step 5: Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top of the cheese.
- Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the dish is heated through. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days for best flavor.
- Reheat individual portions in the microwave or the whole bake covered in foil in a 350°F oven until warmed through.
- Serve with a side of garlic bread and a simple green salad to complete the meal.
- For an extra layer of flavor, lightly sauté a diced onion and bell pepper with the ground beef before adding it to the tortellini mixture.
