Step right up! These treats are packed with sweet, crunchy Mother’s Circus Animal Cookies, pink candy swirls, and gooey marshmallow goodness.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Unsalted Butter: 4 tablespoons
  • Mini Marshmallows: 10 ounces (about 6 cups)
  • Rice Krispies Cereal: 6 cups
  • Mother’s Original Circus Animal Cookies: 1 (9 ounce) bag
  • White Chocolate or Pink Candy Melts: 1 cup
  • Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Extra Festive Sprinkles: 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Grease an 8×8 or 9×13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper. Roughly crush about one-third of the Circus Animal Cookies and set the remaining whole cookies aside for topping.
  2. Step 2: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the marshmallows and stir continuously until they are completely smooth and melted. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the salt.
  3. Step 3: Quickly fold the Rice Krispies cereal and the crushed Circus Animal Cookies into the marshmallow mixture until everything is evenly coated. Do not overmix.
  4. Step 4: Transfer the cereal mixture immediately into the prepared pan. Using a lightly buttered spatula or wax paper, gently press the mixture evenly into the pan.
  5. Step 5: Melt the white chocolate or pink candy melts according to package directions. Drizzle the melted coating over the top of the treats. Immediately press the reserved whole Circus Animal Cookies onto the surface and scatter the extra festive sprinkles over the top.
  6. Step 6: Allow the treats to cool completely at room temperature or chill for about 30 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Store the cooled, sliced treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days; refrigeration can make them tough and chewy.
  • If the treats feel too hard after cooling, microwave individual squares for 5 to 8 seconds just before serving to restore a bit of that signature gooey texture.
  • For a playful presentation, serve slices tucked into cupcake liners or nestled on a small platter alongside a bowl of extra melted candy melts for optional dipping.
  • When pressing the mixture into the pan, apply only gentle pressure with your buttered spatula; pressing too hard crushes the cereal and yields a dense, hard treat.
