Ingredients
- Beef stew meat (cut into 1-inch cubes) – 1.5 pounds
- Potatoes (peeled and cubed) – 2 large
- Carrots (chopped) – 3 medium
- Onion (chopped) – 1 medium
- Beef broth – 4 cups
- Tomato paste – 2 tablespoons
- Worcestershire sauce – 1 tablespoon
- Dried thyme – 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: Place the beef stew meat in the crock pot.
- Step 2: Add the potatoes, carrots, and onion to the crock pot on top of the beef.
- Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and dried thyme.
- Step 4: Pour the broth mixture over the beef and vegetables in the crock pot.
- Step 5: Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the beef is tender.
