Delicious fiery chicken ramen with creamy garlic sauce recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast, boneless and skinless: 1 pound
  • Ramen noodles: 2 packages
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste): 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic cloves, minced: 4
  • Heavy cream: 1/4 cup
  • Chicken broth: 4 cups
  • Green onions, sliced: 2

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, mix the chicken with 1 tablespoon of gochujang and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Step 2: In a pot or large saucepan, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the marinated chicken and cook until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken with a slotted spoon and set aside.
  3. Step 3: Add the ramen noodles to the broth and cook according to package directions. Drain the noodles, reserving about 1/2 cup of the cooking broth.
  4. Step 4: While the noodles are cooking, prepare the creamy garlic sauce. In a small pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the remaining 1 tablespoon of gochujang, the remaining 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and the heavy cream. Cook until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Step 5: Add the cooked ramen noodles and the cooked chicken to the creamy garlic sauce. Toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add some of the reserved noodle broth.
  6. Step 6: Divide the ramen between bowls and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best flavor, store leftover ramen components separately (noodles, chicken, and sauce) in airtight containers in the refrigerator.
  • Reheat leftovers gently on the stovetop, adding a splash of broth or water to loosen the sauce and prevent the noodles from drying out.
  • Garnish your fiery ramen with a soft boiled egg and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for added richness and texture.
  • Don't be afraid to adjust the amount of gochujang to your preferred spice level; start with less and add more to taste!
