Delicious frozen greek yogurt peanut butter bites with chocolate chips recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Plain Greek Yogurt (full fat or non-fat): 2 cups
  • Creamy Peanut Butter: 1/2 cup
  • Honey or Maple Syrup: 1/4 cup
  • Mini Chocolate Chips: 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Optional: Chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds): 1/4 cup
  • Optional: Unsweetened shredded coconut: 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until everything is smooth and fully incorporated.
  2. Step 2: Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and optional chopped nuts and/or shredded coconut (if using). Make sure the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt mixture.
  3. Step 3: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a spoon or small cookie scoop, drop rounded spoonfuls of the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, placing them about 1 inch apart.
  4. Step 4: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours, or until the yogurt bites are completely frozen solid.
  5. Step 5: Once frozen, transfer the frozen yogurt peanut butter bites to an airtight container or freezer bag and store them in the freezer. They are best enjoyed straight from the freezer.

Notes

  • Store these bites in a freezer bag, pressing out any excess air to prevent freezer burn and keep them fresh longer.
  • No reheating needed – these are designed to be enjoyed straight from the freezer for a refreshing, cool treat!
  • Serve these frozen bites as a guilt-free dessert, a post-workout snack, or even a fun treat for kids on a hot day.
  • For easier scooping, lightly grease your spoon or cookie scoop with coconut oil before portioning the yogurt mixture.
