Delicious garlic butter beef and rice skillet with cheddar parmesan sauce recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Step 2: Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Stir in rice and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until rice is cooked through and liquid is absorbed.
  4. Step 4: Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and cheddar cheese until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Step 5: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For best results, reheat individual portions in the microwave with a splash of beef broth to prevent the rice from drying out.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or chives for a pop of color and fresh flavor.
  • Don't overcrowd the beef while browning; work in batches for better caramelization and flavor.
