Delicious high protein frozen peanut butter yogurt bites recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • Greek Yogurt (plain, nonfat) 1 cup
  • Peanut Butter (natural, unsweetened) 1/2 cup
  • Protein Powder (vanilla or peanut butter flavored) 2 scoops (approximately 60g)
  • Honey or Maple Syrup 2 tablespoons
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk 1-2 tablespoons (optional, for consistency)
  • Mini Chocolate Chips (optional) 2 tablespoons
  • Sea Salt Pinch
  • Vanilla Extract 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and protein powder. Mix well until a thick paste forms. If the mixture is too thick, add almond milk one tablespoon at a time until it reaches a smoother, more manageable consistency.
  2. Step 2: Add the honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Mix thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Step 3: If desired, gently fold in the mini chocolate chips. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Step 4: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  5. Step 5: Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. You can use a small cookie scoop or spoon to create bite-sized portions.
  6. Step 6: Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until the yogurt bites are solid. Once frozen, transfer them to a freezer-safe container or bag for longer storage. Enjoy directly from the freezer!

Notes

  • Store the frozen bites in an airtight container to prevent freezer burn and maintain their creamy texture.
  • There's no need to reheat these – they're best enjoyed straight from the freezer for a refreshing treat!
  • Serve these protein-packed bites as a guilt-free dessert, post-workout snack, or a fun treat for kids.
  • For easier mixing, slightly warm the peanut butter in the microwave for a few seconds until it's more pliable.
