Ingredients
Scale
- Greek Yogurt (plain, nonfat) 1 cup
- Peanut Butter (natural, unsweetened) 1/2 cup
- Protein Powder (vanilla or peanut butter flavored) 2 scoops (approximately 60g)
- Honey or Maple Syrup 2 tablespoons
- Unsweetened Almond Milk 1-2 tablespoons (optional, for consistency)
- Mini Chocolate Chips (optional) 2 tablespoons
- Sea Salt Pinch
- Vanilla Extract 1/2 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and protein powder. Mix well until a thick paste forms. If the mixture is too thick, add almond milk one tablespoon at a time until it reaches a smoother, more manageable consistency.
- Step 2: Add the honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Mix thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Step 3: If desired, gently fold in the mini chocolate chips. Be careful not to overmix.
- Step 4: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- Step 5: Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. You can use a small cookie scoop or spoon to create bite-sized portions.
- Step 6: Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until the yogurt bites are solid. Once frozen, transfer them to a freezer-safe container or bag for longer storage. Enjoy directly from the freezer!
Notes
- Store the frozen bites in an airtight container to prevent freezer burn and maintain their creamy texture.
- There's no need to reheat these – they're best enjoyed straight from the freezer for a refreshing treat!
- Serve these protein-packed bites as a guilt-free dessert, post-workout snack, or a fun treat for kids.
- For easier mixing, slightly warm the peanut butter in the microwave for a few seconds until it's more pliable.
