Baked perfection! Tangy Boursin and cream cheese are swirled with spicy hot honey and pepper flakes. This gooey, savory-sweet dip is ready in minutes. Full method guide and nutritional data included.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese
  • 4 ounces (half a block) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup hot honey, divided
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small oven-safe dish or ramekin (about 6-8 inches wide) with 1 teaspoon of the olive oil.
  2. Step 2: Place the softened cream cheese and the entire package of Boursin cheese into the prepared baking dish. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the cheeses and sprinkle with the red pepper flakes and garlic powder.
  3. Step 3: Bake the cheese mixture for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dip is hot, melted, and bubbling around the edges. If desired, you can briefly switch to the broiler for 1 minute to lightly brown the top.
  4. Step 4: Carefully remove the hot dip from the oven. Immediately drizzle 3 tablespoons of the hot honey evenly over the surface of the melted cheese.
  5. Step 5: Garnish the dip generously with the freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately while warm with crusty bread, pita chips, or sturdy crackers.

Notes

  • Store any leftover dip tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, recognizing the texture will solidify significantly once chilled.
  • To restore the original creamy consistency, reheat leftovers in a 300°F oven, covered with foil, until bubbling hot (about 10-15 minutes), stirring in a teaspoon of milk if the dip seems too stiff.
  • For a perfect sweet-and-savory contrast, serve this warm dip alongside tart green apple slices or crisp, chilled bell pepper spears.
  • For a deeper infused flavor, let the Boursin and cream cheese sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before baking so the olive oil and spices better penetrate the cheese during the bake.
