Scale
  • 68 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  6. Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Leftover apple crisp can be stored, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat individual portions in the microwave for 30-60 seconds, or until warmed through.
  • A scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream complements the warm apple crisp perfectly!
  • For extra flavor, try using a mix of apple varieties like Granny Smith and Honeycrisp.
