Ingredients
- Shin Ramyun instant noodles: 1 package
- Beef sirloin steak: 4 oz
- Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Brown sugar: 1 tablespoon
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste): 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise: 2 tablespoons
- Milk: 1 tablespoon
- Garlic, minced: 1 clove
Instructions
- Step 1: Marinate the beef sirloin steak with soy sauce, brown sugar, and minced garlic for at least 15 minutes. Grill or pan-fry the steak to your desired doneness, then slice thinly.
- Step 2: Prepare the Shin Ramyun noodles according to package instructions, but reserve about 1/2 cup of the noodle water.
- Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, gochujang, and milk to create the creamy spicy sauce.
- Step 4: Drain the noodles (reserving 1/2 cup of noodle water), and return them to the pot. Add the spicy creamy sauce and the reserved noodle water. Stir well to combine.
- Step 5: Top the ramen with the sliced grilled beef. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but the noodles will soften over time.
- For best results, reheat the ramen on the stovetop with a splash of water or broth to prevent sticking and revive the sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for added flavor and visual appeal.
- Don't be afraid to adjust the gochujang in the creamy sauce to customize the spice level to your liking!
