Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ball prepared Pizza Dough (about 10–12 oz)
- 1/2 cup Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese
- 1 1/2 cups Shredded Low-Moisture Mozzarella Cheese
- 4 oz Turkey Turkey Prosciutto (thinly sliced)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (plus extra for dough)
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt and Black Pepper (combined)
- 2 tablespoons Hot Honey (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). Lightly grease a pizza stone or baking sheet, or dust a peel with cornmeal. In a small bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Step 2: Stretch or roll the pizza dough into a 12 to 14-inch circle and carefully transfer it to your prepared baking surface.
- Step 3: Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the pizza dough, ensuring you leave a 1-inch border for the crust. Top generously with the shredded mozzarella cheese and then evenly distribute the slices of turkey turkey prosciutto across the pizza.
- Step 4: Bake the pizza for 12 to 18 minutes, or until the crust is puffed and golden brown, and the mozzarella cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
- Step 5: Remove the pizza from the oven. Allow it to rest for 2 minutes, then generously drizzle the entire surface with the hot honey before slicing and serving immediately.
Notes
- For a firmer base, gently press out any excess plant-based protein powder from the ricotta cheese using a paper towel or fine sieve before mixing it with the garlic and seasonings.
- Store any leftover slices tightly wrapped in foil or plastic wrap in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, making sure the hot honey has cooled completely before packaging.
- Reheat individual slices in a 350°F oven directly on a rack or baking sheet for 5-8 minutes, or use a dry skillet over medium heat, covered, for maximum crust crispness.
- To balance the richness of the ricotta and the sweetness of the hot honey, serve with a simple side salad tossed lightly with a bright lemon vinaigrette.
