Delicious apple toffee dip recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Cream cheese, softened: 8 ounces
  • Brown sugar, packed: 1/2 cup
  • Granulated sugar: 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Toffee bits: 1/2 cup, divided
  • Heavy cream: 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped pecans or walnuts: 1/4 cup (optional)
  • Apples: Several, for dipping (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or your favorite)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Step 2: Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar to the cream cheese and continue beating until well combined and smooth.
  3. Step 3: Stir in the vanilla extract and heavy cream until fully incorporated. The dip should be smooth and easily spreadable.
  4. Step 4: Gently fold in half of the toffee bits (1/4 cup) into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Step 5: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and sprinkle the remaining toffee bits (1/4 cup) and the chopped pecans/walnuts (if using) over the top.
  6. Step 6: Serve immediately with sliced apples for dipping, or cover and chill in the refrigerator for later.

Notes

  • Store leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • If the dip becomes too firm after refrigeration, let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes to soften before serving; avoid microwaving as it can affect the texture.
  • For a fun twist, try serving the dip with graham crackers, pretzels, or even pear slices in addition to apples.
  • Chef's tip: Be sure your cream cheese is fully softened for an ultra-smooth dip that's easy to mix and spread.
